Pete discovered yoga in 2016 after saying he would never like yoga, being someone who enjoys lifting weights for exercise! He started practicing with his then girlfriend, eventually the relationship came to a close but his practice remained. Yoga was rewiring his mind and body, clearing negative thoughts and building strength in new ways.

Pete now finds yoga to be the perfect balance to weight training and life in general.  A true testimony to the saying, “yoga is for every body.” Pete keeps his classes light and fun while using breathwork and taking time to settle into poses.

  • Certifications & Accomplishments: 200 hr YTT with Caitlyn Graham Visconte and Renee LeBlanc at YogaWorks Back Bay

  • Favorite pose and why: Trikonasana (triangle), because it feels stable and is a versatile pose accessible to almost everyone. While opening up the chest and hamstrings you can also strengthen your core with different hand positions!

  • In my class soundtrack you’ll hear: Anything on the mellow side from Ray Lamontagne to Trevor Hall and instrumentals, so your mind can drift away.

  • Favorite way to de-stress:  Yoga, weightlifting and walking my dog Gabe!

  • Favorite essential oil & use:  Lavender to sleep and relax.  Being italian, does olive oil count?!

  • What has Ganesh done for you/hope will do for students?  Ganesh clears obstacles, and sometimes those obstacles are ourselves. He also represents new beginnings and every second is a chance for a new beginning or to make a change in our thoughts and behavior.

  • When I’m not on the mat or teaching:  Working, hanging with my dog and friends and family. In the summer, I enjoy working in my garden.
